We listened in on this last night via zoom and it was very interesting.  The main crux of the discussion was the importance of insulating your colonies.  The presenter emphasized the importance of insulating the top of the hve where most of the heat is lost.  If you don't insulate you risk loss due to condensation and loss of heat.  The bees have to work extra hard and consume a lot of energy to keep the cluster warm.  Insulate if you haven't done it yet.

The rest of hive should be insulated too.
